Your Scope of Supply
List what you provide on a project, say who furnishes each line, and let that decide which spec sections and submittals are yours.
Most of a spec book belongs to other trades, and a submittal register built by reading all of it hands you work that was never yours. The project's Scope page starts from the other end: what you provide. Everything downstream comes from that list: which sections are yours, which submittals you owe, and what lands on the Equipment Register.

-
Step 1 of 5 On the project's Scope page, type what you provide. -
Step 2 of 5 Choose Add to scope. The line joins your list, ready to be filed against the section that specifies it. -
Step 3 of 5 What we owe says who furnishes each line. Only what you furnish asks you for submittals. -
Step 4 of 5 The submittals that cover a line's section are listed under it. -
Step 5 of 5 To add many lines, Pick from a list, paste your scope, or upload it as a PDF.
Add what you provide
Type a line under Add what you provide, with tags if it covers tagged equipment, and choose Add to scope. Below it, three ways add many lines at once:
- Pick from a list ticks what you supply from a catalog of panels, instruments, controls, network and power, and services. Save what I provide keeps the ticks. Unticking removes a line, unless you already gave it a section.
- Paste your scope takes the scope paragraph from your proposal or contract.
- Upload your scope reads it from a PDF of up to 250 MB.
Each line comes back with the spec section that specifies it. Change the section picks another one, and a line with none yet offers Find its section. Match under the list looks for a section for every line still without one.
Say who furnishes it
What we owe beside each line says who furnishes it: We furnish it, We furnish part of it, Our sub furnishes it, We integrate to it, others furnish it, We coordinate only, or Not our scope. Only what you furnish, in whole or in part, makes the section yours and asks for submittals. The rest records who furnishes it, and Not our scope lines fold away at the bottom.
If you do submit for your subcontractor, set the line to We furnish it.
What it feeds
A line's section is claimed for you on Specifications once the section's text has been read, and the submittals that cover it are listed under the line. Removing a line takes it off the page; the trash button asks first.
